Perth Glory will host Western United in the Australian top flight in a clash that could potentially have huge ramifications in the playoff battle in the league. Both sides are holding on top six ambitions as they head to this game with hosts Perth Glory in fifth place with 37 points from 25 matches while Western United have 33 points in seventh place after 23 matches. In their last match, Perth Glory were thrashed 4-0 by Melbourne Victory, with the second half capitulation all to blame for the heavy loss. Western United lost their last away match, 1-0 to Newcastle Jets, ending a run of two straight away wins and as they get to the second ever meeting with Perth Glory they will hope for better times. The first meeting between the two sides ended 1-1 in October 2019.
