Paraguay vs Brazil Prediction & Betting Tips - World Cup
by Steve Ashfield | in World Cup Predictions
Paraguay are coming from one tough game against Uruguay in the South America World Cup qualifiers and head straight to another, against Brazil, as the qualifiers go into round six. Going to this game, Paraguay are placed fourth in the qualification table with seven points, eight below Brazil who are top. Paraguay are coming from a 0-0 draw with Uruguay, their third straight draw and fourth in the qualifiers. They are one of the three unbeaten teams in the qualifiers, the others being Brazil and Argentina. Their only win in the qualifiers has been against Venezuela, who are not particularly performing well, and Paraguay do not have a very encouraging run. They’ve won just three of their last 15 matches and are winless in four straight World Cup qualification matches at home. In their last seven World Cup qualification matches at home, they’ve managed just one win, and lost four.
Brazil’s quest for a ticket to Qatar 2022 is well on course, and they are also in great form. They go to this game on the back of six straight wins and they are the only nation in the qualifiers to have won each of their five matches so far. Their dominance also sees them placed top as the best scorers as well as the best defensive side, having scored 14 and conceded two in the opening five qualification matches. Heading to this game, Brazil beat Ecuador 2-0 to establish a third straight clean sheet as well as opening a four-point gap at the top, as Argentina drew with Chile. In their five qualification matches, Brazil have scored two or more goals in four and go here unbeaten in 22 World Cup qualification matches. The last time Brazil lost in World Cup qualifiers was in 2015, against Chile, and they’ve failed to score just once in the 22 matches.

Our Paraguay vs Brazil Prediction
Brazil seem unstoppable in their chase for a place at Qatar 2022, and in this game pitting two of the three unbeaten sides in the qualifiers, the visitors will have an upper hand. They waited for over an hour to see off Ecuador in the last game but that’s just a reflection of the force Ecuador are. Paraguay haven’t done so well in these qualifiers and their run towards this game hasn’t been really impressive. Here we will back Brazil to win
