Brazil go into this game in third position in the group with eight points ahead of fourth placed Paraguay on goal difference. That's five points off leaders Ecuador but only a point ahead of seventh placed Colombia. It  looks like being really tight for the top four places that guarantee automatic qualification and the fifth place that takes you into a play-off.  Both sides drew their last game 2-2 but in very different circumstances. Brazil must have thought they had three points sewn up after a Costa goal gave them a first minute lead over Uruguay and Augusto made it 2-0 after 28 minutes. Uruguay fought back and got a 2-2 draw. As for Paraguay they trailed 1-0 at leaders Ecuador before going 2-1 up only to concede a 92nd minute equalizer. So far Paraguay have beaten Bolivia and drew with Argentina at home in this group. Brazil are yet to win away in the group with a loss in Chile and a draw in Argentina.With their next qualifier being away to Ecuador, Brazil will want some points from this match. They haven't got a good record against Paraguay though with their last win over them being in 2009. I think both sides will score in what should be an intriguing cup tie.
