Palmerias host Boca Juniors in the Copa Libertadores semi-final second leg. It's all square after the first leg played in Argentina ended in a goalless draw. It's a similar situation in the other semi-final tie as Internacional host Flamengo in their second leg with the scores level at 2-2. Palmeiras (currently fourth in Serie A) will be going all out to get the win knowing it'll set up an all-Brazilian Copa Libertadores final for the fourth year in a row. Palmeiras won this title in 2020 and 2021 and are the top seeds in this year's tournament. They topped Group C by three points and in the knockout phase have had wins over Atletico Mineiro, Deportivo Pereira. The 0-0 draw in the first leg of this semi-final means Palmeiras are yet to concede a goal in their five knockout phase matches. They are unbeaten in their five home games in this season's Copa Libertadores. Not many goals are being scored in their recent home games with the last five seeing them keep clean sheets but under 2.5 goals in all the matches.

Boca Juniors are only 11th in the Argentinian Professional League after seven games of the new season. They last reached the Copa Libertadores final in 2018 and it's 16 years since they last lifted the trophy. The Blue and Gold were seeded fourth for the knockout phase after winning Group F by five points. That took them into a last 16 tie against Nacional and they needed a penalty shootout to get through. In the last eigth, the 'Half Plus One' beat Racing and again won on penalties after a goalless draw. Four of their last five games in this year's Copa Libertadores have ended goalless. Another tight match looks on the cards here and we go for under 2.5 goals to be scored.
