Reigning Spanish champions Real Madrid keep up the defence of their La Liga title when they travel to Osasuna on Saturday. Los Blancos are second in the table, trailing city rivals Atletico Madrid by two points despite having played two games more. Meanwhile, Osasuna are 19th in the league after picking up 14 points from 16 matches. The strugglers earned a respite from their league troubles when they picked up a 3-0 win at lower-tier opposition in the Copa Del Rey in midweek. However, there is no mistaking that they are in serious trouble domestically. Without a victory since the end of October, Osasuna are on a ten-game winless streak. The chances of that ending against Real Madrid - a team they have lost against on the last seven occasions on which they've met - seem incredibly slim. Madrid have scored two or more goals in their previous nine matches against Osasuna. 

This Madrid side is by no means free-scoring. They average 1.7 goals per game, the second-highest in a low-scoring version of La Liga. If it gets results, it will be accepted. Zinedine Zidane wasn't delivering on the results front at the start of December, leading to speculation about his position being under threat.
