Osasuna plays host to Mallorca at the Estadio El Sadar in this final day match of the Spanish La Liga. The home team are in ninth position with 47 points while the visitors are in 17th position with 36 points. Osasuna had ambitions of playing in Europe next season but their run of five matches without a win has dashed any hopes of a Europa position. They are now trying to cling onto their top half finish as they are just two points clear of 11th placed Valencia. If Osasuna do manage to finish in the top half it will be their best finish in six seasons. They come into this match as the only team in the league who has picked up more points on the road than at home. The task is simple for Mallorca, they need to match or better Cadiz’s result and they will be safe as they have the better head to head record. They face the possibility of being relegated in their first season back in La Liga for the fifth time in their history.
