Osasuna vs Girona Prediction & Betting Tips - LaLiga

A win for seventh placed Osasuna will take them into the Conference League. They host Girona who are ninth and with their own European ambitions. The Gorritxoak are only above eighth placed Athletic Bilbao on head-to-head results and a point clear of Girona. It’s a tight battle with 12th placed Mallorca only three points behind them. Win this game though and nothing can stop Osasuna from qualifying for the Conference League. Their most recent game saw Los Rojillos take an early lead at struggling Getafe but end up losing 2-1. That’s their fourth loss in six league games but three defeats were against top form sides. Home form has seen them win ten league games but lose seven. Four of the last five have been won though.

Girona would be in the top seven but for some poor recent form. They have only earned two points from their last four league matches. At the weekend they took the lead at home to Real Betis but lost 2-1.  How different their situation would be if they'd held onto that lead. That was their second successive home league defeat. Away league form has been inconsistent this year with only three out of 18 games won. Seven have been drawn but eight lost. Only one of their last seven away league fixtures have been won.
