Osasuna still have faint hopes of qualifying for European football next season. They are 11th in the table and host Real Betis who are seventh in the table. Los Rojiillos have been struggling for form in recent weeks and come into this game having lost each of their last three league fixtures. Their most recent loss was a 3-0 defeat at Granada who are looking almost certain to be relegated this season. That has left them ten points behind their opponents who currently hold the Europa Conference League qualifying position. Home form for Osasuna has been inconsistent with six league wins but seven ending in defeat. They have lost their last two home La Liga fixtures to Real Madrid and Valencia. The reverse fixture with Betis took place in October and saw them lose 2-1, conceding a 94th minute winner.

Real Betis are in with a good chance of European qualification. They need a top seven finish and are two points clear of eigth- placed Valencia. The Green-and-Whites are only a couple of points adrift of sixth placed Real Sociedad who are in the Europa League qualification position. Betis had a March to forget with four consecutive defeats in La Liga. They have recovered well though with a run of seven points from their last three fixtures in La Liga. It could have been three in a row but they gave away a lead at home to Sevilla last week. Away form in La Liga has seen them win four of their 16 matches but six have been drawn.
