Both of these clubs are in the top five in the MLS Eastern Conference. Orlando City are fifth in the table, while visitors Philadelphia are the conference leaders. Orlando are four points clear of eighth place, so looking good for a play-off spot. A win here will take them to within six points of Philadelphia. The home side are unbeaten in their last four Conference games but have drawn the last two. This week has already seen them lose 3-1 in a home friendly against Arsenal.  Home form for Orlando could be improved on if they are to finish higher in the table. Five games have been won but the same number lost with no draws.  Three of the last five have been won though.

Philadelphia have a one point lead at the top. New York City have a game in hand though and play just before this match. The away team are in top form at present with their last three conference games all won. 11 goals have been scored, including a 7-0 thrashing of DC United. Away form has seen them win four, draw four and lose two. Only one of the last four has been won though. That was in their last away fixture, when winning 2-1 at Inter Miami.  With Orlando not quite firing on all cylinders at present, back Philadelphia to get an away win.
