Two sides who have both had a good season so far clash in the final of the Belgian Cup. The two sides have qualified for the Championship stages of the Belgian league after Waregem finished third in the regular 30-game league with Oostende in fifth four points behind. Now they meet in the Belgian Cup final and neither side have had the easiest of routes to the final. Oostende had  a cracker of a cup tie in the last sixteen going 3-0 up at Tubize only for their opponents to force extra time and it took a 119th minute penalty to get Oostende in the quarter finals. After a 1-0 home win against Gent in the last eight, they beat Genk 2-1 on aggregate in the semi-finals. Waregem needed a last minute goal to get past Cappellen in the last 32 and followed that up with an extra time win at ASV Geel. A 2-0 home win over St Truiden saw them through to the last four where they beat Eupen 3-0 on aggregate, all the goals coming late in the game. This should be a tense final and a bet on under 2.5 goals looks to be the one to go for.
