French side Olympique Lyonnais have never beaten Dutch side Ajax Amsterdam in the two sides meetings in history but the record is not cast in stone; it can be broken when the two sides face off in the second leg of the Europa League semi final in France on Thursday 11th May. Lyon are at a heavy disadvantage heading to the match as they will be hoping to overturn a 1 – 4 loss picked in the first leg in Amsterdam a week ago. Lyon will be hoping for a better turn of results after managing three wins and two losses in their last five outings. Their home form has also been unconvincing, losing two and winning three interchangeably. Their last five home games have yielded 10 goals but they have conceded nine.
