Nottingham Forest play their first home game of the season in the Championship after earning a draw at Bristol City on Saturday. They host West Bromwich Albion who were relegated from the Premier League last season and began life back in the Championship with a 2-1 home defeat by Bolton Wanderers, who so nearly got relegated to League One last seaon, so will be keen to get off the mark here.  Forest spent big during the summer in reaction to last season when they could only manage to finish 17th and 22 points adrift of the play-offs. 11 new players have arrived at a cost of around £25m. They conceded 65 goals last season and that's a figure that has to be reduced if they are to get anywhere near the top six. Home form last season saw them win ten league games but they also lost ten and only relegated Burton and Sunderland lost more on home territory. Saturday's game saw them concede in the fifth minute but a second-half equaliser got them a point - away form needs improving too with 13 league losses last season. 

For West Bromwich Albion, it's their first season back in the Championship after being relegated from the Premier League last season. They got off to a terrible start and although they ended the season well, it wasn't enough to keep them out of the bottom three. Their season got off to a bad start with that 2-1 loss at home to Bolton and their manager Darren Moore sees that as a "wake-up call." His side nearly got a point but Bolton got the winner in the 89th minute. More bad news is that striker Solomon Rondon missed the game and appears to be on his way to Newcastle United. Last year they lost 12 away league games and another loss here would get their fans even more worried. Go for Forest to get the home win after a promising first result of the season.
