Nottingham Forest vs Newcastle Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

Nottingham Forest are only two points above the bottom three in the Premier League. They host Newcastle United who are in ninth place and struggling to secure another season in the Champions League. Forest have only won five of their 23 league games this season. One of those was away at Newcastle who they earned a 3-1 away win against last Boxing Day. Forest's last league fixtur saw them come from behind to earn a point at Bournemouth. That followed two league defeats away at struggling Brentford and at home to Arsenal. Last season their home form kept Forest in the Premier League. It's not going so well this term with only three league wins, five lost and only 15 goals scored. Five of their last six home league games have been lost, the other a win over Manchester United.

Newcastle United desperately need to improve their away form in the Premier League. They have only won two of their 11 played this season but there has been some signs of improvement on the road. Their last three league and cup games have all been won and eight goals scored. Two were in the FA Cup (including a win at Fulham) but the most recent away win was at Aston Villa, winning 3-1. Last week saw them held to a 4-4 home league draw by Luton Town. The Magpies are 13 points adrift of fourth place and 11 behind the top five. That's a gap they just can't allow to get any wider. Forest are struggling for form and we tip Newcastle to get an important away victory.
