Nottingham Forest vs Leicester Prediction & Betting Tips - FA Cup
by Daniel Ngulu | in FA Cup Predictions
Nottingham Forest are seeking another upset after eliminating Arsenal from the FA Cup in the third round. They play host to the current FA Cup holders Leicester City in the fourth round and coming from an away loss to Cardiff City in the Championship. Nottingham Forest beat Arsenal in the last round of the FA Cup, a win that reignited their season and they went on to win three more games before the loss to Cardiff. In their last five matches, Nottingham have scored in all, and kept three clean sheets, performances that should give them the needed confidence here. Their last three matches have produced over 2.5 goals; twice in the three, Nottingham scoring two or more goals.
Leicester City haven’t won their last two matches since beating Watford in the last round of the FA CUP. They won 4-1 then but the two matches that have followed, ended in a 3-2 loss to Tottenham Hotspur and 1-1 against Brighton. Notably, in those two matches, Leicester were the first to score, both courtesy of Zambian international Patson Daka. Attack actually hasn’t been a problem for Leicester; they have scored in each of their last five matches. It is in defence that they’ve had real difficulties this season, and going to this game, they have just one clean sheet in five and have conceded 11 goals in the five matches. Three of their last five matches have produced over 2.5 goals, with both teams scoring in four.

Our Nottingham Forest vs Leicester Prediction
Nottingham Forest lost their last match ahead of this but after their win over Arsenal in the last round, they will only look at this game as a challenge they can surmount. They won’t be cowed, and especially knowing that Leicester are struggling a bit. Leicester have been great in attack and will also be keen on a successful defence of the FA Cup. This can only mean an open game and with both sides good in attack, over 2.5 goals can pass.
