Nottingham Forest vs Fulham Prediction & Betting Tips - Championship

Nottingham Forest bid to make it three home league wins in a row. They are fifth in the Championship, a place and two points behind their opponents Fulham. Forest drew 1-1 at in-form Derby County on Saturday but will be disappointed with that result. They led early in the first half but conceded a 96th minute equalizer. When Fulham won at home to Birmingham later that afternoon, that saw the Londoners go above Forest in the table. The home side are six points behind the final automatic promotion spot. However, West Brom who are second host Hull City on Sunday so that gap is likely to widen. More important for Forest is the fact they are seven points clear of seventh placed Derby, so a play-off position is looking very likely. Forest have beaten both Huddersfield Town and Bristol City at home since the season resumed. Home form had been patchy before that though with just one point from their last three. Overall this season, Forest have won ten home games in the Championship but have lost six and drawn four. Only one of the last eight has been lost though but this is going to be a tough task against Fulham. Both teams have scored in two of the last three Championship home games.

Fulham also scored a late goal on Saturday. They got their winner against Birmingham in the 94th minute to record their second straight league win. They are four points behind West Brom after Saturday's fixtures, so like Forest will be hoping Hull can get something at West Brom on Sunday. Fulham have won seven away league games this season but that means 13 have seen them return home without winning. Eight have been drawn and five lost. They had an important win at QPR in their last game. They had to come from behind to win that though, having conceded in the very first minute. That was a welcome away victory as they had earned just three points from the previous four on the road. Three of their last five away league matches have ended 1-1, it wouldn’t be a shock if that was the final score in this fixture. They have scored in five of the last seven away games but have only kept one clean sheet in those games.
