Nottingham Forest will be back in action on Monday, hosting Barnsley in their first game of the new year and looking to bounce back from two straight losses. Nottingham go to this game on 34 points and I ninth place while Barnsley are 23rd with 14 points. Nottingham’s nine-game unbeaten run was cut short by Middlesbrough and they went on to lose a second straight game against Huddersfield Town.
