Norwich might be very unpopular in the North East by the end of this month. They face both Newcastle and Sunderland and good results will probably doom both those opponents to relegation. The Canaries are one place above the relegation zone, two points clear of Sunderland (who they host on April 16) and three points ahead of Newcastle with both having a game in hand. Goal difference sees Norwich's being inferior to Sunderland but better than Newcastle. A win here then would see them go six points clear of Newcastle, a huge step towards safety. They are in form too with four points from their last two games, a -0-0 home draw with Manchester City and a 1-0 win at West Brom. A recent home draw with West Ham isn't bad either though they did give away a 2-0 lead. Newcastle beat Norwich 6-2 at home earlier in the season but their away form has been a disaster for them. Just seven points and seven away goals all season with 33 conceded. Newcastle have lost their last seven away league games scoring just twice, can Rafael Benitez do anything about this? I go for a Norwich win here and that will really put Newcastle in real danger of going down.
