Norwich City welcomes champions Manchester City to Carrow Road for this Premiership encounter. The home side are in 19th position with 17 points while the visitors are flying high in top spot with 70 points. Norwich looked to have been dead and buried in the relegation zone a few matches ago but a resurgence of form as seen them go three matches unbeaten. They had wins over Watford and Everton before drawing their last match against Crystal Place. Norwich are still in the relegation zone but are just one point behind 17th place Newcastle although they have played an extra game. Their 2-1 win against Everton brought to an end a run of three consecutive home defeats. If they can avoid defeat in this match it will equal their best run this season of four matches unbeaten.

Champion Manchester City had a comfortable 2-0 win over Brentford in their last match to stretch their lead at the top of the league to 12 points. They have however played two more matches than second placed Liverpool. City are unbeaten in their last 14 league matches with an incredible 13 wins and just a solidary draw. It will take a monumental slump in form to prevent the champions from retaining their title. They have won their previous two matches against Norwich with a 5-0 scoreline but the two games prior to this they lost one and drew one against the Canaries.
