Arsenal have the chance to stay in the top four going into the new year and this will be their target as they head to Norwich for their 19th league game of the season. After three matches this season, Norwich and Arsenal were tied at the bottom of the league table with zero points. For Arsenal though, things have changed for the better and they are 22 points ahead of Norwich, in fourth place while Norwich are still bottom with 10 points. Norwich were supposed to play West Ham United in the past week but that was called off and they should go to this game well rested. They weren’t in action in midweek, and one area they should have worked on is their attack. In the last five matches, have scored one goal, and head here with three straight losses. They have two wins only in their last 10 matches and they have two clean sheets only in that run. Six matches after Dean Smith’s appointment as manager, they’ve managed just one win though they are just three points away from the safe zone.

Arsenal on the other hand are on four straight wins and in great shape heading to this game. This is despite their key forward Pierre Emerick Aubameyang being out of the team. The Gunners are coming from a 5-1 win over Sunderland in the League Cup and have scored 15 goals in the last five matches. After three straight away losses, they returned to winning ways in their last league game, beating Leeds United convincingly, 4-1 and they’ll look at this as another away trip they can claim three points in. Arsenal have scored first in each of their last seven matches and they head to this game with seven wins in their last 10 matches. They are looking to build a good away run, and this is definitely a game they will be looking forward to boost them on that aspect.
