Norway vs Georgia Prediction & Betting Tips - Euro

Georgia will be away to Norway on Tuesday in their next Euro 2024 qualifying match. The two nations are tied on points in Group A with Norway in third edging Georgia in fourth by goal difference. Norway are having a rocky qualifying campaign and have managed only one victory in four matches. They have lost twice with this form leaving them with four points, two adrift of the qualifying places. On a positive note, however, is that Stale Solbakken’s men arrive for this match off the back of an impressive victory. The Lions were 6-0 winners over Jordan in a friendly match they hosted last Thursday. The win extended their winning run to two matches after they beat Cyprus 3-1 last time out in the group. Six different players got their names on the scoresheet against Jordan. Talismatic forward Erling Haaland was an unused substitute in the match. The Manchester City forward has scored three goals in Group A and will be expected to resume his role up top against Georgia. Norway had gone four games without a win, losing twice, before their current hot streak.

As Norway were running riot against Jordan, Georgia were being taken through the wringer by Spain. Willy Sagnol’s men were thumped 7-1 by La Roja at home in their fourth match of Group A. Their heaviest loss since a 5-1 thrashing by Denmark back in 2019 dropped them down to fourth. Georgia have now lost their last two matches with the Spain loss coming after a 2-0 defeat away to Scotland. The Crusaders will however not be worried if they fail to finish among the top two in their group. Georgia qualified for the playoff round of these qualifiers after they won promotion to League B in last season’s Nations League campaign. Before their current slump, Georgia had lost only once in 15 outings. They won 11 matches in that spell, one they will be eager to return to. Georges Mikautadze scored in the reverse fixture against Norway that ended 1-1 back in March. He has scored twice already in the group and will again be preferred to lead the line.
