Norway will host Faroe Islands in the penultimate round of Group F Euro 2020 qualifiers, hoping to add three points to their tally. Going to the game, Norway have 11 points and are in fourth place while Faroe Islands have three points and are placed fifth. Norway have a chance of making a second placed finish in the group. Should they fail, they will still advance to the playoffs having finished top of Group 3 of the Nations League. Norway have three straight draws heading to this game and they are unbeaten in the last seven matches, though five are draws. They have two wins in the group; these having come against the weakest teams in the group – Faroe Islands and Malta. They have scored in each of their eight matches in Euro 2020 qualifiers, losing once and keeping just two clean sheets. At home, Norway are unbeaten in 14 matches. They last lost at home in 2016; a 3-0 loss to Germany. In Euro qualifiers, they are unbeaten in four at home, winning one and drawing three.

Faroe Islands on the other hand, managed to get their first three points in the last match. They lost 2-0 to Norway in their earlier meeting in the group and they will be hoping to build on the win over Malta even though they can’t qualify. Faroe have one win and seven losses in their last eight matches and have conceded two goals or more in seven of their last eight matches. They have scored just once in their last five matches and have one clean sheet in the five matches too. In the last five matches, Faroe Islands have conceded 13 goals. Away from home, Faroe Islands have not won in the last 10 while they have six straight losses in Euro qualifiers away from home.
