Kazakhstan will be away to Northern Ireland on Monday looking to maintain their strong start to the 2024 Euro Qualifiers. The two nations are competing in Group H where Kazakhstan are second after three rounds of play and Northern Ireland fifth. Northern Ireland are on three points in the group having won one of their three matches. This was their opening round 2-0 away win over San Marino. Since then they have lost their last two qualifiers by similar 1-0 scorelines with their last match seeing them fall to Denmark away. Michael O’Neill’s charges lost the last time they were at home in the group to Finland and will seek to avoid another upset here. This will be a difficult task however as they have won only one of their last six matches as hosts.

Kazakhstan are riding high in Group H where they are currently in second place behind leaders Denmark. The top four teams in the group are currently on six points each. After losing to Slovenia at home on matchday one, Magomed Adiyev’s charges bounced back in sublime fashion. They beat group favourites Denmark 3-2 at home before securing a less chaotic 3-0 win away to San Marino last time out. The Hawks have never taken part in a FIFA major tournament but after their strong start to these qualifiers, they will start believing that the time is now. Kazakhstan have won only one of their last five away games and have lost three times in this run.
