The final four teams in the Indian Super Cup will be decided on Sunday when NorthEast United and Jamshedpur face off in the fourth quarter-final matchup. The winner of this match between the Highlanders and Men of Steel will face either Inter Kashi or Mumbai City in the semi-final. Let’s get into the prediction.

NorthEast United are set to feature in their third quarter-final in the last four seasons, and they earned their spot in this round with a thumping 6-0 victory over Mohammedan on Thursday. 

Alaeddine Ajaraie continued his scintillating form, scoring a hat-trick in that match, while Jithin Madathil, Nestor Albiach and Guillermo also got on the scoresheet in the big result. 

With that win, the Highlanders have now scored two or more goals in six of their last nine games across all competitions, with Ajaraie netting 12 times during that period. 

Meanwhile, Jamshedpur produced a solid effort to beat Hyderabad 2-0 in the round of 16 and are now aiming to reach the semi-final of the Super Cup for a third consecutive season. 

Javier Siverio gave them the lead from the penalty spot in the last match, while Stephen Eze provided breathing room with the second goal of the afternoon just after the hour mark. 

While NorthEast United won both games during the ISL regular season, the Red Miners came out on top 2-0 when they met in the first round of the ISL Playoffs at the end of last month.
