Paris Saint-Germain travel to Nimes for Ligue 1 action on Friday night. The reigning champions suffered a slow start that was probably a result of their involvement in the Champions League latter stages, losing their opening two league games. However, they have since recovered and come into this on the back of four successive wins. It leaves them fourth in the table after six matches. Nimes have had mixed fortunes in their opening six games, winning two, drawing two, and losing two. This run of results puts them 13th in the table. They have failed to win their past two games, which doesn't bode well for the visit of the most powerful team in France. PSG won their last two away matches and they are unlikely to fear a trip to Nimes. They have won all four of their previous matches against the minnows, one of which was at the Stade des Costières. Thomas Tuchel may be more focused on the club's opening Champions League match of the campaign against Manchester United in midweek. We will see how that affects his team selection.

Nimes are capable of beating teams at home, as their positive run at the end of last season showed. They finished the campaign with four wins from their last six home games. However, we don't see them getting the better of Tuchel's men. They have found their stride and we expect them to put on a show on Friday night.
