PSG have nothing but pride to play for when they travel to Nice for their next Ligue 1 game on Wednesday. The Parisians come into this game having already won the title while Nice are still in the chase for Champions League football. With two games to play, Nice are assured of at least a fifth-placed finish but they are definitely eyeing more. With a five-match unbeaten run, Nice will feel they can challenge for a top-three finish. They are four points behind third and will be hoping to do better than Lille and Brest who are tied on 58 points. Jeremie Boga’s early goal against Le Havre earned Nice a 1-0 win, their third victory in the last four matches. They now have two straight home wins, recovering from a run of four straight winless outings. Nine wins in their last 16 home matches will be sure to keep Nice motivated. The hosts will also be hoping to complete a double over PSG following on their 3-2 win in the first leg meeting.

This will be the third time these two sides face off this season. Their second meeting was in the French Cup, with PSG winning 3-1 to avenge their league defeat. The last time PSG visited Nice, they won 2-0. However, they are returning on a very solid run, having suffered a 3-1 loss to Toulouse last time out. That result reflects on PSG’s recent struggles, after failing to win any of their last four matches. It was also their third straight defeat, coming right after their elimination from the Champions League. PSG fielded a much-changed team for the Toulouse game, as they prepare to face Lyon in the French Cup final. We expect to see the same here though the champions will be hoping to avoid a third league loss of the season. Les Parisiens haven't had a smooth run in Ligue 1 in recent times. Their last 10 league matches produced just four wins. In those 10 matches, PSG managed just two clean sheets and conceded two or more in four. However, going into their final away league game, PSG are still unbeaten on the road.
