High flyers Nice will look to continue their positive start to the Ligue 1 season when they play host to Marseille on Saturday. The hosts are currently second in the league standings, while the visitors are sixth. Nice won their last match 1-0 against Metz before the international break. That result maintained their unbeaten record this season, which now reads as four wins and four draws. They are the only team in the top flight that are still unbeaten after the first eight matches of the season and are just one point behind league leaders Monaco. The Eaglets have drawn three and won one of their four home games this season. They have also kept clean sheets in each of their last three matches on home soil. The Gyms were last beaten at home in April. The hosts won the last meeting between these sides 3-1 and are the favourites in this one. 

Meanwhile, Marseille secured a much-needed win in their last match, beating Le Havre 3-0. That brought an end to a six-match winless streak in all competitions, which included four draws and two losses. Over their eight league matches, the visitors have taken 12 points, leaving them two points behind the top three teams. The Phocaeans' biggest issue this season has been their away form. They have failed to win a single game on the road in league or cup competitions this term, including losses in their last two. In addition, Marseille have conceded two or more goals in four of their last five outings. Still, having finished above Nice in each of the last seven seasons, the visitors cannot be ruled out in this one.
