Second placed Nice will welcome high-flying Lens to the Allianz Riviera on Wednesday in their next Ligue 1 match. Nice’s title ambitions suffered a blow after losing two away games while Lens climbed to seventh after an 11th game unbeaten. Coming into this game, the hosts lost 3-1 to newly promoted Le Havre in their last game. That marked a second straight away loss and it enabled Paris Saint-Germain gain a five-point advantage at the summit. They have been strong at home however, as they are the only team alongside Marseille that are yet to taste a home loss. Nice also possess a good home record against Lens; they haven't lost to them there since 2006. That run has four victories and three draws.

Following a shaky start to their league campaign, Lens have finally found their footing. They arrive for this game with an 11-game unbeaten run in Ligue 1. The last time Lens lost a league game was in September. In their latest league game, they beat Reims 2-0 for their seventh win in 11 league games. This run of form has seen them in Champions League contention places and here they’ll seek to stretch this flow. Lens have however been poor on their travels, winning just two of their last 13 games.
