Newport County have beaten Leicester City and Middlesbrough to reach the fifth round of the FA Cup. Now they host Premier League leaders Manchester City and their cup run looks more than likely to come to an abrupt end. Newport are 15th in League Two and eight points away from the play-off positions. They are a league below Burton Albion who recently lost 9-0 to City. Newport have only lost one of their last five home league games, all of which have had only three goals scored in them.
Manchester City just keep on scoring goals at present with six in last weekend's thrashing of Chelsea. Two FA Cup games this season have seen them score 12 goals against Rotherham United and Burnley without conceding. It'll be interesting to see what line-up Pep Guardiola puts out for this game. It comes just a few days before their Champions League game with Schalke and a week before the Carabao Cup final. City can win this game of course and the bet is for them to do so leading at both half and full time.
