Newcastle United’s campaign took another big hit in the loss to Manchester United and they will be hoping for better times when they host a resurgent Wolverhampton Wanderers. The 3-1 loss to United left Newcastle just three points above the relegation region, in 17th place with 25 points, while Wolves are 12th with 33 points. Newcastle are now on two straight losses, and three in their last four matches. They’ve conceded two or more goals in the last four matches, while their attack hasn’t responded in kind. The Magpies have scored two or more in just two of their last 15 matches. At home, they have one win, three losses, and just a clean sheet in the last six.
