Newcastle vs Wolves Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

Newcastle United face Wolves on Saturday afternoon (3pm Kick Off) with the home side looking for their first home win in the Premier League in four games. Eddie Howe's team have been in the somewhat unusual position of late of seeing their away form generate better performances and results than at home. Newcastle have been the entertainers in the Premier League this season in terms of goals with all of their last eight games seeing both teams score in the league,  plus with an average of 3.81 goals per game in matches involving them, no team's supporters have seen more goals per game than the Toon Army. They are going to have to improve significantly from their performance last weekend when they were beaten comfortably 4-1 by Arsenal in what was arguably their worst performance of the season. In midweek, they defeated Blackburn 4-3 on penalties after a 1-1 draw to clinch an FA Cup Quarter Final spot where they will take on Manchester City at the Etihad.

Wolves also made it into the FA Cup Quarter Finals thanks to their 1-0 win over Brighton at Molineux, thanks to Mario Lemina's 2nd minute strike. They will take on Championship promotion hopefuls Coventry City in the quarterfinal with home advantage in their favour.  The Black and Gold have been in excellent form over their last ten games , winning six of them, drawing one and losing three, two of which have come at home. However, they have landed excellent wins on the road at Brentford, Chelsea and Spurs of late and they have not lost in an away games since a 3-0 defeat at West Ham on Christmas Eve. Amassing 3 wins and a draw in their last four on the road.
