Newcastle were held to a 2-2 draw by improving QPR in midweek. It should have been three points but a last minute own goal gave QPR a point. United are second in the table, four points clear of Reading in third with a game in hand, so automatic promotion is still looking likely. They are unbeaten in their last three league matches and at home have only lost one of the last five. Derby County are in sixth place, the final play-off spot but only ahead of Sheffield Wednesday on goal difference. After a period of three league games without a win, Derby have won their last two and held Leicester to a draw in the FA Cup last weekend. Away form has seen just one win in the last four with defeats at Norwich and Leeds. A hard game to predict but Newcastle are hard to beat at home and Derby not so great on the road. Go for a Newcastle home win, especially as Derby might just have that live FA Cup replay with Leicester on their minds.
