Newcastle may well have Rafael Benitez as boss now but it's not getting them anywhere near surviving in the Premier League. Just one point has been earned from his four games in charge and that was against fellow relegation strugglers Sunderland. United have just four points from their last ten league games and that's relegation form by anyone's book. With their away form simply being appalling, their home record had been keeping them in touch with the rest of the league but even that's deserted them now with a loss to Bournemouth and a draw with Sunderland in their last two games. They go into this weekend six points adrift of safety with a game in  hand but inferior goal difference. Newcastle just have to win this game and perhaps hope Norwich and Sunderland, the two sides directly above them draw in their game at Carrow Road. However, Newcastle have to take on a Swansea side who are in form after a difficult season. They have had recent wins over Arsenal and Chelsea and have 13 points from their last six games, a points total bettered by only Leicester and Liverpool. The only defeat in the last six has been by Southampton. Away from home they have four points from their last three games, not bad for trips to Arsenal, Southampton and Stoke. They are now 12th and 13 points above the bottom three that they were in at the start of the year. Who knows they might take their foot off the pedal now so I go for over 2.5 goals to be scored here based on recent results and the fact neither side has a great defence.
