After being denied two points by the Goal Line Technology on Wednesday, Sheffield United will be back to action with an away game against Newcastle United this Sunday. Going to this clash, Newcastle United are 13th on the table with 35 points and Sheffield are sixth on 44. Newcastle are eight points above the drop zone and survival seems real for them. On the other hand, Sheffield can dare dream of European football next season. They are a point off the Europa league spot currently occupied by Manchester United and two behind the final Champions League spot which is currently occupied by Manchester United. At the time the league was stopped Newcastle United had gone winless in five matches in the Premier League. As they look to better that run, they will probably want to look at their run of just two defeats in the last 13 matches across all competitions, as motivation. They have not scored in the last four league matches, another area they will want to work on but playing at home where they have two straight league clean sheets will be a boost. They have two wins and three clean sheets in their last five home league matches and have failed to score in two of the last five home league games.
