Newcastle vs Leicester Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

Newcastle had a creditable draw against Liverpool on Wednesday but are still struggling for form. They are down to 14th and begin 2021 with a home game against third-placed Leicester City. United may have earned a point against the league champions but it was a game they should have won. They have their goalkeeper and a wasteful Liverpool attack for that point. Newcastle have now gone four league games without a win and an EFL Cup defeat too. Just two points from those four games but they are still eight points above the relegation zone. Scoring is a problem at present though. They have just one in their last four league and cup matches and that was a penalty. Home form has seen them draw their last two in the Premier League, though anything earned against Liverpool has to be seen as a bonus. 

Leicester City haven't been that consistent in recent weeks but it's their home form that has been a worry. They have lost four at home in the Premier League and have the 13th best record. On their travels though it's a different story with six wins in eight games with the only loss at Anfield. They have drawn their last two league games, a creditable 2-2 draw at home to Manchester United and a 1-1 draw at Crystal Palace. City left several players out for the trip to Palace, they just haven't got the squad to do that and expect wins. They are third in the Premier League table and only four points behind Liverpool, so a good run in January will boost their title hopes. If they choose a stronger team this time around as they should, an away win can be earned at Newcastle.
