Newcastle vs Leicester Prediction & Betting Tips - Premier League

Newcastle United were in the top ten last week but are now 11th after two straight defeats. Now they host second placed Leicester who recovered from two losses to beat West Ham at the weekend. That win over the Hammers was an impressive one considering they made nine changes from the side that lost 4-0 to Liverpool.on Boxing Day. Leicester's title chances are minimal but securing a Champions League place is important for them and they are 11 points clear of fifth place. Leicester come into this game having won five of their last six league games. It takes Liverpool or a club from Manchester to beat them on their travels. They are likely to bring back some of their rested players for this game so that's not good news for Newcastle. 

United are bidding to avoid a third straight defeat. Boxing Day saw them suffer a heavy loss at Manchester United and then they lost 2-1 at home to Everton at the weekend. That's three losses in four games and although only six points behind the Europa League place, they are just seven above the relegation zone. A couple of good wins will change their season into one where they might get into Europe, more losses will again put their Premier League status in doubt.  Only two clean sheets have been kept in their last 12 league games  The loss to Everton ended a run of eight home games without a defeat with four wins. Their defence isn't great though and City will get the chances to continue Newcastle's disappointing Christmas. Go for an away win here.
