Newcastle are still in search of their first win of the season and they have also been eliminated forom the League Cup. Their season is already in disarray this early and Rafa Benitez would give anything to lift the Magpies from this bad patch. They managed a draw in their last match, with Crystal Palace, picking their second point of the season and also their first clean sheet in five matches. Newcastle last won a game in July, in preseason and have gone winless in their last 11 matches across all competitions. They have let in at least two goals in five of their last seven competitive matches but their draw with Palace in their last match would give the St. James Park faithfuls some hope going into this game, considering Palace's quality. As for Leicester, the draw with Wolves and subsequent win on penalties is a confirmation of their growth since the back to back defeats to Liverpool and Bournemouth with the only negative being that for the first time in eight games, they failed to score in 90 minutes. That should not be an issue though when they get back to league action as a full strength side is expected to troop out there. Newcastle have picked three straight losses in the league matches they have played at home this season and they have just one win, and four losses in the last five. Leicester are not far much better when playing away from home; they have one win in three this season and the same one is the only win they have had in six away games in the league. They have no clean sheet in the last four league matches, and also in the last six away league matches.
