Life isn't great fun for North East football fans at present with Sunderland bottom of the table and Newcastle one place above them.  Steve McLaren isn't the first manager to see being Newcastle boss as a dream job but it's  beginning to turn into a nightmare. Their only success all season has been in the Capital One Cup and in the Premier League they have just two points from six games.  Newcastle have lost their last three league games and also lost at home to Championship side Sheffield Wednesday in the Capital One Cup, a fifth straight defeat here looks more than likely and with Manchester City up next, McLaren may not have his dream job too long.  Chelsea were grabbing all the headlines after a dismal start to the season but since then they have won three games in three different competitions conceding just one goal. That's important to Chelsea because it was their defence that was causing most of the problems.  Chelsea still have a few problems with players such as Hazard not hitting top form and Costa suspended. Now is the time for Falcao to show he's still got it and against a Newcastle side that's struggling he might just do that.
