The play-offs are virtually out of reach for New England Revolution as they trail by eight points. Recent form has been responsible for that wide gap opening as they have earned just two points from their last four matches. The last two have both ended in defeat with losses to Toronto and  conference leaders Atlanta. Both games were played away but home form for New England isn't much better in recent months. They have won six home games in the Eastern Conference of the MLS but the last five have only produced two draws last winning at home on July 1. August saw New England draw 3-3 away to Orlando City, they led 2-0 and 3-2 but only returned home with a point after a 93rd minute equalizer. They'll hope for a repeat of last year's home game against Orlando when they won 4-0.

Orlando City are bottom of the Eastern Conference and trail the rest of the teams by six points. They have gone 11 league games without a victory, last winning when beating Toronto 2-1 at home on July 15 with just that single victory in the last 21 league matches. Current form sees them earn just three points out of the last 33 and have failed to score in their last four league games. Away form in the Eastern Conference is a disaster with two wins and 13 defeats and the last 12 on the road have all been lost with 38 goals conceded in the last 12 away games. They probably can't wait for the season to end and the tip here is for New England to get a welcome home win, leading at both half and full time.
