New England Revolution vs CF Montreal Prediction & Betting Tips - Major League Soccer

MLS action will continue this weekend when the New England Revolution welcomes CF Montreal to the Gillette Stadium on Sunday for a match that could impact both ends of the table, depending on the outcome. The hosts are currently third in the MLS Eastern Conference standings, with 13 points after six matches, just one point behind the current leaders, FC Cincinnati, and three points clear of Columbus Crew in fourth. The Revolution played out a 1-1 draw in their last match against New York City last weekend, which extended their unbeaten run to three matches. The hosts have gotten off to a good start this season with a record of four wins, one draw, and one loss, and have looked strong at home, where they are unbeaten in their first three matches with two wins and a draw. Coming up against a struggling side, New England will be fairly confident they can come away with the points in this one. 

Meanwhile, Montreal has had a very poor start to the season and comes into this match following a 5-0 loss against the Vancouver Whitecaps last weekend. The visitors are currently at the bottom of the Eastern Conference standings, having only taken three points from the first fifteen on offer this season. Montreal has won one and lost four of the first five matches this term, conceding twelve goals while only scoring three in response. This will be Montreal’s fifth away match of the season; however, the visitors have lost all of the preceding four and are yet to register a goal on the road this season. Taking on the defending champions on the road is always a tall order, and it’s likely going to be very difficult for the visitors to get anything from this match.
