They are down to fourth place and are two points behind Bulgaria in third and three adrift of Sweden who occupy the play-off position. They have three games left and after this game travel to Belarus before a final home match against the Swedes. The Dutch have to win their next two and hope that Sweden game will be a play-off deciding match. Form is patchy for the Netherlands but they have won two of their three home games in this group losing the other to group leaders France. It's the away form of Bulgaria that is the key in this game. They sit in third place only a point behind Sweden who they beat at home on Thursday. That was their fourth straight win with France their only remaining home game. Away from home it's a different story losing all three of their games.  Both teams need the points here and Sweden in second would love this to be a draw while they hopefully get a win in Belarus. With Bulgaria having already conceded nine away goals in three games, go for the Dutch to win this on a -1 handicap.
