Neman Grondo have made a mixed start to the new season of the Belarus Premier League. They are ninth after three games and look to get a second win of the season when hosting bottom-of-the-table Belshina who are still without a point after three games. The home side have won one, drawn one and lost one of their first three league fixtures. Their season began with a 1-0 loss at Isloch Minsk with the winner coming two minutes from time. They have bounced back well though with a 2-0 home win over Vitebsk and a goalless draw at Shakhtyor. Grodno are unbeaten in their last four home league games in the Premier League with three clean sheets.
It's not been a good start to the season for Belshina with no points from three league games. It didn't look as if it was going to go that way when they went 1-0 up on FC Minsk in their opening game after just seven minutes. Little did they know that would be their only goal in their first three league fixtures. They went on to lose that home match 3-1, then lose 1-0 at Zhodino and suffer another defeat by that score at home to Gorodeya. Belshina have no wins in their last four away league games. That poor run looks likely to be extended here, go for a home win.
