Napoli host Udinese at the Armando Maradona for the last round of Serie A action before the World Cup break. Saying that the Partenopei look unbeatable is practically an understatement at this point. Spalleti’s men cruised to another victory against Empoli in midweek, already boasting a six-point lead at the top of the table. They have lost just once in their entire campaign so far, winning a staggering fifteen of their last sixteen games in all competitions. Napoli have also proven to be quite the goal machine this season, boasting the best attack in the league and scoring nineteen times in their last six home games. To top it off, they have built an impressive tradition when hosting Udinese, winning each of their last nine home games against them. 

Udinese look like they have regressed slightly from their ferocious start to the Serie A season. After an impressive six game winning run, the Udine side are winless in each of their last six, drawing four of those. While stalemates against Lazio and Atalanta have to be considered respectable, dropped points against Monza and Cremonese have really underlined the visitors’ lack of efficacy in recent weeks. On the upside, Udinese are unbeaten in their last five on the road, losing just one of their last thirteen away games. However, with the feat of visiting a frightening Napoli side already being a tall order, their dismal tradition of nine away defeats in a row there should do little to lift their spirits ahead of this one.
