It was becoming a close battle for the Serie A title but then Napoli suffered a 3-0 loss at Fiorentina last weekend. Juventus trailed 2-1 at Inter going into the 87th minute and it looked as if the gap at the top might stay at  point but two late goals gave Juventus a crucial win The pressure will be on Napoli as Juventus play a day before them this weekend and a home win over Bologna who have lost ten away league games this season, will take them seven points clear of Napoli so failure by them to beat Torino will all but end their title hopes. Napoli host tenth placed Torino who have little to play for at this point of the season. Before the loss at Fiorentina, Napoli had gone seven league games without defeat and at home have won 13 out of 17 games. 

Torino come into this game with no hope of European football and safe from relegation. They aren't in good form though with no wins in their last four league games and just two goals scored. They have drawn 14 league games this season, level with SPAL as the most for any side in Serie A and eight of those have come on their travels. Torino have only won four away league games this season and have just one win from their last eight away league matches. This is all about Napoli and as long as they have regained their focus after last weekend's loss, they can get back in winning ways with a home victory.
