PSG continually win Ligue 1 and another triumph this season already looks assured after 12 straight wins. What their wealthy owners really want is to win the Champions League but defeat here could see them ending up in the Europa League.  Their first three games in this group have seen them lose away to Liverpool, easily beat Red Star at home and then be held to a 1-1 home draw by Napoli leaving them third in the group, a point behind Napoli and two adrift of leaders Liverpool. They had to come from behind twice to get that point with the second equalizer being in the 93rd minute. A loss in this game would leave Napoli just needing one more win to qualify and PSG would have to beat Liverpool at home to have any chance of qualification. Away form in the Champions League isn't great with three straight defeats and they have only won one of their last six matches in this competition.

Napoli are second in the group after a win and two draws so far. It could have been three draws but for a 90th minute winner at home to Liverpool that could prove crucial in this group. They so nearly won in Paris and are undefeated in their last six league and cup games, winning their most recent match 5-1 against Empoli on Friday evening. Home form is strong with a run of 12 unbeaten games in all competitions and they have won four of their last five home games in this competition. Napoli are second in Serie A and can get the win in this match to really put PSG in trouble.
