Manchester City top the group after winning their first three games. They are three points ahead of Shakhtar and six clear of Serie A leaders Napoli. A win in Italy will see them through to the last sixteen but defeat could make winning the group difficult, especially if Shakhtar beat Feyenoord. City are in great form at present and have gone 21 league and cup games without defeat since losing the FA Cup final to Arsenal. They have scored eight goals and conceded just the once but two of their last three games are away so there's a bit of work to be done yet. Napoli are top of Serie A with 31 points from their first 11 league games. The weekend saw them beat Sassuolo 3-1 but they are having a rough time in the Champions League with two defeats in their first three games. A win over City would put them back in contention for a place in the last sixteen and Shakhtar still have to travel to Italy. They are unbeaten in their last 12 home league and cup games but have only won two of their last five home Champions League games.
