Fifth placed Brest look to continue their unbeaten run in Ligue 1 when travelling to Nantes who are ninth in the table. Brest begin the weekend just two points adrift of the fourth and final Champions League place currently occcupied by Lille. With Lille home to PSG this weekend, a win for Brest at Nantes could take them into the top four. The Pirates are unbeaten in their last four league fixtures, most recently winning 1-0 at Metz. They have earned ten points from their last four Ligue 1 games, the only one of the last four they didn't win was a 1-1 home draw with Strasbourg. Les Tiz'efs have won four of their eight away league games this season (the third best record in Ligue 1) with the last two both being won. Five of those eight matches saw under 2.5 goals being scored.

Nantes are ninth but there's a five point gap to Reims in eigth and they have an inferior goal difference. Results in the coming weeks will be important for them as the Canaries may be only five points behind fourth place but just six above the relegation zone. The Yellow House lost 2-1 at PSG last weekend conceding an 83rd minute winner. That ended a run of two league games without defeat but three of their last five in Ligue 1 have ended in defeat. Nantes have won three of their eight home league games this season and only lost two. Their last four home league fixtures have all seen under 2.5 goals scored in them and we go for that stat to come up again this weekend.
