Morocco will host DR Congo for the return leg of their third round clash in the 2022 World Cup qualifiers looking to gain from home advantage after the two played to a 1-1 draw in Kinshasa. The hosts go into this game on a better footing though sth sides are winless in their last two matches. Morocco recovered from early concession in the first leg to draw level and survived a few scares. They will hope for a cleaner job here though they go into this match with just one clean sheet in the last five. Defensively, they have work to do, as both sides have scored in their last four matches. Twice in their last four matches, Morocco have conceded twice, but they scored twice in three of their last five matches. As a result, three of their last five matches have produced over 2.5 goals. In attack, Morocco haven’t had much issues; they’ve scored in each of the last 19. In World Cup qualification, they are unbeaten in their last 13 matches, winning nine. 

DR Congo will rue their missed chances after a great opening in the first leg of this tie. Taking a 1-1 draw to Rabat doesn’t come with a lot of guarantees and they will get to see this. Among all teams that advanced to this round, they were the weakest, topping their group with 11 points. DR Congo will be without Ngonda Muzinga for this game after he was shown a late red card in the first leg.
