=12ptComoros didn’t have a very welcome start to the African Cup of Nations, losing their first ever game at that stage, to Gabon in their Group C game. They will hope for a better outing when they take on Morocco on Match Day 2. Morocco started off with a 1-0 win over Ghana and will be looking to extend the same to minnows Comoros. In 28 matches, Morocco do not have an outright loss; the closest they’ve come to that was on post match penalties after a 2-2 draw with Algeria at the Arab Cup. Going into this game, they have four clean sheets in the last five matches and have scored three or more goals in seven of their last 10 matches. The only loss they’ve had in the last five AFCON matches was against Benin on post match penalties and they have four clean sheets in that run too.

=12ptFor Comoros, qualifying for this competition was already a big achievement. They are one of the lowest ranked in the competition but will be eying a shocker here, facing one of the best ranked. They gave a good account of themselves in the opening game but still suffered a 1-0 loss to Gabon and here they will know this is a harder game. Comoros have now suffered two straight losses ahead of this game, having lost to Malawi in a warm up game ahead of the tournament. In the last 10 games, Comoros have lost four times and managed just three clean sheets in the process. With just three wins in their last 17 matches played away from home, Comoros will be serious underdogs coming into this game.
