Monza will look to spoil the celebrations of champions Napoli when the sides play at the U-Power Stadium on Sunday in the Serie A competition. The hosts are 12th in the standings but have the same number of points as eighth-placed Fiorentina, while Napoli are celebrating their title win and are 17 points ahead of second-placed Juventus. Monza are the surprise package of the season and have been punching above their weight quite regularly. As we move towards the end of the season, they are stacking up results regularly and are unbeaten in six league matches. Only a loss to Lazio was the blot across their last ten league matches, where Monza have won four and drew five. They have been regularly picking up draws at home with five of their last nine league matches here ending as stalemates. To go with that, Monza have lost only two in that sequence, which means they are likely to make things difficult for the visitors.

Napoli are in the midst of their title celebrations and have drawn four of their last six matches in all competitions. The team has been knocked out of the Champions League which means there isn’t much to worry about, between now and the end of the campaign. There is enough motivation though as they look to breach the 90-point mark and go up as high as 95, although that needs them to win all the matches from here on. That may not be a difficult proposition if we consider Napoli’s impressive away record. They have won eight of their last nine away league matches although drawing the latest at Udinese.
