Fourth placed Inter travel to Monza who are 15th in Serie A. Inter are looking to win their fourth straight league game and ended the unbeaten run of leaders Napoli on January 4 as the Serie A season resumed. The win may have taken them back into the top four but they are still eight points behind Napoli. Four of their last five league games have ended in victory, the other being an away loss at Juventus who they now trail by a point. Inter have played 16 league games this season but are yet to draw one. 25 games in Serie A have now been played since one of their games ended level. Away league form is the reason why there's such a gap between Inter and Napoli. While Inter have won four on the road, they've lost the same number. Three of the last four have been won though and they'll be looking to continue that improved form in this game.

Monza are only three places above the relegation zone but not in immediate danger. They are eight points clear of the bottom three, none of whom are in double figures for this season. Monza resumed their Serie A league season with a 1-1 draw at Fiorentina. They needed to come from behind to get that point and have only lost one of their last four league fixtures. They've won five games in Serie A this season, four of them have come against teams currently in the bottom eight. Home form has seen them in the same situation that Inter are in on the road. Four home wins but also four losses. Inter may well provide them with a fifth home defeat of the season.
